Cookie policy
This website sets no cookies for visitors, neither for reading it nor for sending an enquiry. That is why you were never asked to accept any. One cookie exists on the staff sign-in page, which is not a page visitors reach; it is described below rather than left out.
01 What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep, so that it can recognise your browser later. Some are necessary to make a site work at all, such as staying signed in. Most of the rest exist to count visitors or to follow them between sites for advertising.
02 What this site uses
For a visitor, none. Reading any page here sets no cookie, and neither does filling in and sending the enquiry form. There is no shopping basket to remember, no analytics counting visits, no advertising network, no embedded video, no social media buttons and no chat widget. Every one of those is a common source of cookies, and this site has none of them.
There is one cookie, and only staff ever meet it. The page where enquiries are read requires signing in, and a signed-in member of staff is given a single cookie so that they stay signed in while they work. It contains nothing but a random session identifier, no name, no email address, nothing about you, it is readable only by the server and not by any script, it expires when the browser closes, and it is deleted on sign-out. It is never set on a page a visitor can reach.
The fonts and images are served from this site's own server rather than from a third-party network, which is a deliberate choice: a font loaded from someone else's service would tell that service you were here.
03 Why there is no banner
Consent banners exist because of cookies that are not necessary to run the site. There are none of those here, so there is nothing to ask you about, and a banner asking you to accept cookies we do not use would be simply untrue. The one cookie described above is strictly necessary for a staff member to stay signed in, which is the category that never requires consent, and it is never set on any page a visitor sees.
If you would like to check rather than take our word for it, open your browser's developer tools, go to Application or Storage, and look at the cookies for this domain. It will be empty.
04 What your browser does on its own
Your browser will cache the pages, images and fonts so the site loads faster next time. That is your browser's own storage, not a cookie, it identifies nobody, and it is cleared whenever you clear your browsing data.
05 Leaving this site
Tapping WhatsApp takes you to WhatsApp, which certainly does use cookies and its own tracking, under its policy rather than ours. The same is true of anywhere else you go from here. This policy covers haesyn.com only.
06 If this changes
If this site ever adds something that sets a cookie, this page will be rewritten before it goes live, the date above will change, and if that cookie is not strictly necessary you will be asked to consent to it in the ordinary way.
